Position Description:

If you are a versatile and talented Software Engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work on innovative projects, we encourage you to apply for this role. You will join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. You will contribute to the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

Desired Skills:
  • Proficient in at least one programming language (Java or Python)
  • Technical knowledge regarding compute, network, memory, and storage system components
  • Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools such as SaltStack, Puppet, and Ansible
  • Experience with Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring Data and Spring
  • Experience with trouble-shooting large Linux Clusters
  • Experience using system monitoring tools such as Prometheus/Grafana
  • Experience with Messaging Frameworks such as RabbitMQ and Kafka
  • Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience administrating/monitoring Kubernetes clusters
  • Experience with Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
  • Experience with Git for version control Helm to deploy Kubernetes applications
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledgeable with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and applications
Requirements:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must hold an active clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in a computer science related field is required
  • 7 or more years of experience
Physical Requirements:
  • This position involves sedentary work with physical requirements expected for at least 50% of the time. Essential functions include prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and talking.
