This position will work in the Deli Department with a 5:00 am start time. This is a PART TIME position.

What will you be doing?

  • Breaking down the daily truck
  • Rotating products
  • Sorting product onto carts
  • Stocking the department sales floor
  • Picking product from back stock as directed by the computer generated list and by doing manual picks of items missed by the computer
  • Assisting behind the counter as needed to slice meats and cheeses for customers and Meijer Pick up orders
  • Any other tasks as assigned by store leadership

What skills will you use?

  • You are detail-oriented and organized.
  • Strong listening and communications skills, face-to-face and virtually.
  • Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
  • Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary.
  • Process-driven with ability to follow procedures in an organized and efficient way.
  • Ability to stay calm while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desire to work with customers on a consistent basis.
