**Responsibilities****:**

* The Receptionist (Concierge) provides a positive first impression to all who enter the community.

* Answers and screens all incoming telephone calls in a courteous and professional manner, routes calls and takes messages, as appropriate.

* Receives and processes mail for community staff. Accept all outgoing mail/packages.

* Maintains and updates log of all emergency phone numbers.

* Oversees sign-up for scheduled transportation.

* Assists in sales process by performing tasks in support of special events and tours.

* Performs other general administration duties

* Supports and assists the Executive Director and Community Relations Director in setting, tracking and accomplishing sales related goals as determined by sales team

* Demonstrates effective telephone skills producing qualified leads and appointments

* Prepares the residents community file according to Maplewood and state specific regulatory requirements

* Manages the move-in process for the community

* Collects any remaining paperwork

* Orientates the resident and family to the community

* Presents the apartment to the resident and family explains the telephone, and emergency procedures systems and other services such as hair care/salon, transportation, activities, etc.

* Arranges lunch or dinner for the resident and family members on the Move-In day

**Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification**

* High School Diploma required

* Must possess strong interpersonal skills and capable of relating to a variety of people and personalities

* Should enjoy working with the senior population

* Personal initiative and sound judgment are also required

* Must have Microsoft Office experience and clerical skills

Maplewood Senior Living conducts pre-employment screening including background check, drug screening, and reference checks.

**All candidates will be required to show valid proof of full vaccination for COVID-19 before commencing work or commit to obtaining full vaccination within 30 days of commencing work, unless they receive an approved exemption from Maplewood. Maplewood will require unvaccinated candidates to obtain their first dose prior to commencing work and then obtaining a second dose with in thirty days after the first dose. Those who do not obtain full vaccination within that time frame, without an approved exemption, will be terminated.**
