Eastern Diversified Properties, Inc. is now hiring a Maintenance Technician / Handyman Potential Earning Based on Experience 60K-65K Eastern Diversified Properties, Inc. ("EDP"), a subsidiary of the DARCARS Automotive Group, is looking for a Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join our facilities team in the northeast, operating in multiple locations. This person will be an integral part in supporting the Facilities Teams ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and comfort of employees and customers in the DARCARS Automotive Groups automotive dealership facilities. A company car will be provided. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Preventative maintenance and cleaning of equipment (e.g., HVAC System and Air Compressor Filters) Scheduled checks on all mechanical devices for trouble?free, efficient operation. Manage basic equipment repairs as needed. Perform basic plumbing maintenance and repairs. Perform basic electrical repairs. Facilitate the upkeep of equipment and supplies at dealership facilities. Involve with, and document, regular facilities inspections. Recommend maintenance initiatives to supervisors. Communicate workplace safety requirements to employees. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. 2?3 years experience with building maintenance or Handyman experience. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to coordinate a variety of different projects and ongoing assignments. Ability to lift at least 40 lbs. Flexible with schedules and weekend hours. Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record with the ability to operate a truck safely and efficiently. Short?term and long?term disability plans. Life Insurance. 401(k).
