**Driver**

Minneapolis, MN, USA Req #11031 Wednesday, February 16, 2022 Motivate is looking for a **Driver** to operate a vehicle for the purposes of relocating bikes throughout the system. To that end, you will load and unload the vehicle with bikes, and dock/undock bikes at every station stop. Additionally, you will be responsible for the safe operation of vehicles and for basic ongoing maintenance, including reporting vehicle issues promptly to management. The Driver will report to the Service Delivery management team.

**About the Role**

* Follow safe work practices and help create a safe working environment

* Operate a vehicle to move bikes around the system

* Load/unload vehicles with bikes; dock/undock bikes at stations

* Communicate with dispatch using provided phone/radio/GPS unit interface

* Clean vehicles and perform minor vehicle maintenance

* Perform pre/post trip inspections for every vehicle trip and fill out associated paperwork

* Report vehicle issues/problems to management and dispatch

* Maintain knowledge of the system to provide excellent customer service to current and potential customers in the field

**About you**

* You have a valid drivers license and acceptable motor vehicle record

* You have a strong knowledge of Minneapolis geography and street layout

* You can work off hours and/or weekends

* You can effectively communicate with coworkers and supervisors

* You take direction well and thrive in a team environment

* You can lift up to 52 pounds and can bend and stand for long periods of time
