Day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Evaluating the performance of existing trade strategies in the US Power markets
  • Identifying and assessing risks associated with the trade strategies
  • Applying ML, generative-AI and quantitative techniques to enhance and develop algorithmic models that support trade strategies through pricing models
  • Providing guidance on trade execution

Requirements:

  • Experience as Quant Researcher/Analyst in US Power markets. Open to years of experience, various levels. Minimum of 2 years.
  • Experience with ML, GenAI and Statistical modeling (Data visualizations)
  • Master’s or PhD degree in Mathematics or Computer Science discipline
  • (Preference for candidates with extracurricular e.g. Math Olympiad, Participant in Math or Trading Competitions)
  • Strong programming (Python, Python 3) and mathematical skills
