Supporting aerospace engineering projects in a role of PA engineer, ultimately leading them as project specific PA manager,

Supporting ESA project development throughout its entire lifetime – design development, prototyping, manufacturing, qualification, flight hardware acceptance testing and delivery to the client,

Establishing PA plan within the project and monitoring its implementation,

Closely cooperating with designers in a form of internal documentation reviews prepared in line with ECSS standards as well as project specific requirements specification,

Directly cooperating with the client in a form of project reviews as well as nonconformance reporting,

Preparing PA specific quality records highlighting traceability relevant to parts/materials/products as well as procurement, inspection, test, assembly integration and operation activities,

Supporting project’s manufacturing, assembly integration and test (MAIT) activities in a form of reviewing procurement/manufacturing specifications, defining inspection activities applicable to acquired parts, verifying compliance to established integration & testing procedures as well as participating with the operator during their execution,

Defining and monitoring qualification activities necessary to implement proposed design solutions, chosen suppliers, manufacturers and test facilities,

Verifying compliance to client specific requirements through proposed activities,

Performing risk, failure modes and reliability analyses of developed mechanism,

Participating in preparation of new project proposals in a role of PA engineer,

Implementing processes resulting from ISO 9001 certification as well as introduction of AS/EN 9100 standard,

Our requirements

Engineering degree in quality engineering, aerospace engineering, material engineering, mechanics or similar,

Proficient English skills in terms of documentation preparation as well as direct communication with the client during project reviews,

Experience with working in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks,

Experience with reviewing mechanical documentation, including manufacturing specification,

Ability to systematically monitor implemented processes, improve upon them while working with the engineering team and client, as well as analyse any deviations from such plans,

Nice-to-have skills:

Professional experience in a position of PA/QA engineer,

Familiarity with space industry ECSS standards or working under ESA contracts,

Experience with overviewing mechanical engineering development projects,

Working knowledge in the fields of mechanics, material science,

Knowledge of basic machining and manufacturing processes,

Ability to perform risk and reliability analyses.

We are currently looking for a person to support existing and new projects as a quality assurance engineer. Such project role focuses on establishing and implementing PA standards as well as monitoring whether existing verification activities are realised according to the requirements specification. Working within the Astronika projects guarantees participating in the overall development lifetime of the unit from the design phase, breadboarding and MAIT activities related to qualification and acceptance activities.
