We’re looking for a Security and Operations Engineer who spe cia lizes in installing systems on Cloud infrastructure, ensuring the infrastructure is functional and available, and updating and patching critical systems to enhance our security posture. You’ll identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical system.You’ll build in redundancy, implement monitoring tools, and automate wherever possible. You’ll reduce toil by scripting routine tasks and automating self-repair.

You Have:
Experience with CI/CD development
Experience with AWS
Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
HS diploma or GED
Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 3 months of start
date
Nice If You Have:
Experience working in Cybersecurity
Experience with Cybersecurity concepts, including threats, vulnerabilities, security operations, patching, boundary defense, auditing, or authentication
Experience with Je nk ins, Packer, Git, Docker, Kubernetes JIRA, and
Confluence
Knowledge of NIST 800-53 and NIST-190
Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC
Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. You Have:
2+ years of experience with Python, JavaScript, or C#
Experience with CI/CD development
Experience with AWS
Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
HS diploma or GED
Ability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 3 months of start
date
Nice If You Have:
