**Description**

**Position Summary:**

The Bar Back supports the Tasting Room Staff to provide an exceptional experience to the customers of Bently Heritage including, but not limited to, delivering food to guests in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner; setting tables; adhering to sanitation and safety policies; clearing and cleaning tables; chairs and environment, as well as assist bartender in stocking of bottles and cocktail ingredients.

**Essential Functions and Responsibilities:**

* Responsible for ensuring consistent flow of services to guests and Tasting Room Staff by assisting them with their job functions.

* Enhance customer experience by providing a welcoming, educational, exciting and inviting experience to all Bently Heritage customers.

* Provide assistance to guests by checking to ensure they are enjoying their experience and taking corrective action to problems.

* Ensure craft bars are fully stocked.

* Assist with serving, as needed, to include finishing orders, ensure order is completed and delivered to guests.

* Clear tables of all used cutlery and dishes as guests are done with their food.

* Collects all excess glasses from bars and restocks them in their appropriate outless in accordance to specification, along with retrieving bar glassware from dish areas.

* Clean/Sanitize tables after guests leave the establishment.

* Clean/ sanitize all barware and glasses for tasting and cocktail programs

* Assist in stocking the retail stock room and counting physical inventory.

* Answer customers inquiries about the product, facility, and history.

* Assist with maintaining cleanliness of facilities

* Assist with spirit specific work-labeling, capping, bottling, when needed.

* Assist with providing tours to guests, as needed.

* Perform all other duties as assigned or requested.

* Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

* Other tasks or duties as assigned by supervision or management, that may be required to ensure the continued success of the company.

**Qualifications:**

Special Licenses and/or Certificates:

* TIPS certification or similar class preferred, but not required

* WEST certification or similar preferred, but not required

Education and/or Experience:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* 2-3 years of customer service related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

* Prior spirit knowledge is strongly encouraged, but not required, though an interest in learning about spirits is a must

* High end retail experience a plus.

Other Skills and Qualifications:

* Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to starting date, and must remain fully vaccinated throughout employment, including receipt of recommended booster doses as recommended by federal, state, and/or local health authorities, unless contrary to applicable law.

* 21 years or older

* Demonstrates and understands safety as our core value and follows the key essentials to safety as set forth by our safety resolution; coaches others to do the same.

* Able to work a flexible schedule (Weekends, holidays, evenings, etc.)

* Comply with all food and beverage regulations

* Professional, warm, and welcoming presentation.

* Able to multi-task in fast paced environment
