Rate: $55-65/hr

Our client in the Government space has an immediate opening for a senior level .NET Developer to join an established and growing software development team. The successful candidate will be independent, professional, self-motivated, and have a strong technical background with at least sevenyears of hands-on development experience using Microsoft technologies. This role requires knowledge in the full development lifecycle as well as expertise in full-stack development.

Responsibilities:

Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle

Collaborate with development and project team members

Analyze requirements provided by subject matter experts and project team

Provide estimates, as needed, sometimes with limited requirements

Design and write technical specifications and documentation

Design application and database structures (e.g. tables, stored procedures, etc.)

Develop, test, support, and maintain applications

Design and develop integrations with third-party enterprise level software

Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of highly sensitive data

Qualifications:

7+ years' experience with C#/.NET

7+ years' experience with SQL

7+ years' experience with ASP.Net / .NET framework

4+ years' experience with Entity Framework

2+ years' experience with MVC

Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, XML

Excellent communication skills

Teamwork, professionalism, and tact

Creativity and willingness to be open and share ideas

*Preferred additional skills and experience:*

Bootstrap, Vue JS, Angular

Azure DevOps

HTTP based APIs

Experience with WCF

Lead developer experience is a big plus

COTS software management and/or interface development
