Serve as liaison between the department, university purchasing office and vendors to fulfill departmental procurement needs. Prepare and process PBU, PB0, PB3, PB4, PB7 and PB8 purchase orders. Procurement Card - Monitor, record, and process all procurement card purchases in accordance with applicable rules and regulations. Help users with usage questions, exceptions requests. Accounts Payables - Responsible for the analysis and vouchering of petty cash reimbursements and all employees reimbursements (VP2s and VPEs). Assist in multiple tasks when necessary. Responsible for the safety shoe program, monitoring employees for shoe specification compliance. Required QualificationsBachelor's degree and one year of experience at the Administrative Assistant level, or high school graduation or GED, and five years of clerical experience, including one year of experience at the Administrative Assistant level.Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree or additional education in purchasing. Experience with the State of Texas or higher education procurement process. Experience with University of Texas at Austin finance and/or purchasing applications.
