What you'll do

As a Software Engineer at CSS, you'll be an integral part of our software development team, contributing to the evolution of cutting-edge external and internal tools. Your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities, including:
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers and other Software Engineers to conceptualize and build new features for our growing customer base.
  • Design scalable, fault-tolerant architectural systems.
  • Participate in and provide feedback to the design process to build beautiful and productive UI.
  • Produce high-quality code that supports sophisticated experiences.
  • Actively own features and define their long-term health, keeping reliability and scalability at the forefront of technical designs.
  • Work with other engineers from various teams across the organization.
  • Build reusable components and libraries.
  • Continuously improve the security of our most impactful user flows.
  • Grow and learn new skills and technologies, such as Machine Learning, LLM, user-centric approaches, infrastructure, and mobile development.
What we're looking for
  • Experience: 1-3 years of domain experience in the specified role.
  • You feel comfortable with our main languages: Java and Typescript.
  • Exposure to the full lifecycle of shipping web applications, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
  • Strong understanding of the web stack, with exposure to other aspects of the stack, either infrastructure, web development, etc.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience.

This role is based in our Seattle office location.
