Gappify is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer/Architect proficient in designing and building enterprise systems to join our Engineering organization. Reporting to the Sr. Software Architect, they will collaborate with other engineering leadership, oversee current product modernization, and establish next-generation architectures for future products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SaaS platforms, experience with API development, and integrations. Additionally, proficiency in areas such as object-oriented design patterns, enterprise integration patterns, databases and data systems, and best security practices will be essential in the position. Gappify is a fast-paced and dynamic organization and, therefore, organization, structure, and a genuine willingness to be hands-on are critical skills for success in this role.

This is What You'll Do at Gappify

Drive practical architectural solutions and designs for a B2B enterprise SaaS product service Lead a team of engineers in the development and maintenance of integrations between Gappify’s SaaS product and various ERP and peripheral systems Provide hands-on technical leadership, guidance to the engineering team, and support to system architecture, code, and design reviews Document, test, and troubleshoot implementations; enable fast feature development with rigorous experimentation Design and build high reliability, low latency full stack software prioritizing beautiful and functional interfaces Develop reference implementations of future-state architecture components to jump-start and standardize engineering teams product development work Strategically identify risks, opportunities, and solutions considering all aspects of a product or solution (costs, privacy, data retention, security, etc.) Use your thought leadership and strong communication skills to influence and inspire engineering teams to higher levels of technical innovation Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform technical domain strategy and direction Other duties as assigned
