  • transports primary backing of correct width to all
tufting machines.
  • performs backing changes, as required.
  • transports all carpet, either on flats or in roll
form to staging for next process.
  • moves empty flats from other operations to tufting
area.
  • maintains clean/neat appearance of work area.
  • follows all safety procedures in performing duties
  • performs any other duties assigned by supervisor.
  • saws ends of backing tubes off flush with primary
backing roll.
  • transports yarn/tray packs/cones to/from creel.
  • other functions that may be assigned
