Req ID:432652JOB SUMMARY:Multi-Unit Managers at Love's Travel Stops are a critical element to the success of our long-term business strategy. Whether you are providing guidance on merchandising as an Area Merchandising Manager, truck care services as an Area Truck Care Manager, restaurant services as an Area Food Manager or overall retail operations as a District Manager the goal is to support all aspects of operations in an assigned territory.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:2+ Years Multi-Unit Management Experience2+ Years of Merchandising Experience2+ Years of P&L Responsibility for Multiple UnitsMust Be Willing to RelocateRESPONSIBILITIES:LeadershipMotivate team through a compelling vision and direction to encompass Love’s Core valuesForm partnerships with upward management and key business partnersAct as a leader amongst peers in the field and with Home OfficeLead consistent store visit evaluations and provide proactive feedbackCommunicate clear expectations and hold the store teams accountable to achieving all brand, performance and behavior standardsConduct productive conference calls & team meetingsProactively seek personal learning and development opportunitiesCoaching & DevelopmentRecruit, hire, develop and retain top management talent for the district, to include filling all open positionsDevelop an effective succession plan that leads to internal promotionsTrain store management and create development plansRecommend and approve all salaries and wage changes in conjunction with conducting and approving performance reviews for managementRecognize performance issues in a timely manner and partner with Divisional Manager and Employee Relations to develop action plans for resolutionBACKGROUND CHECKS:All offers of employment may be conditioned on receipt of a background check report and/or drug screen that is acceptable to Love’sTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:Some travel may be required.DIVERSITY STATEMENT:From the founding of Love’s, our leaders have been passionate about providing excellent customer experiences and helping our Team Members grow.
