About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Management Specialist to join our dynamic team at the Illinois Hammer Injury Law Firm. With a team of experienced attorneys, we are dedicated to providing exceptional legal representation to our clients. We pride ourselves on our commitment to justice and ensuring that injured individuals receive the compensation they deserve.

Position Overview:

The Medical Management Specialist is responsible for medical management of multiple cases. This role is 100% phone based, requires actively communicating with clients and discussing their medical treatment, ensuring you are accurately notating the file and obtaining the correct treatment facility locations.

Responsibilities:
  1. Client Support and Guidance: Work closely with attorneys and support staff to guide clients through their medical treatment process, demonstrating empathy and understanding of their medical/physical challenges.
  2. Treatment Facilitation: Assist clients in obtaining the necessary medical treatment by coordinating appointments, communicating with healthcare providers, and facilitating treatment plans as per their needs.
  3. Treatment Compliance: Monitor and track clients' treatment progress to ensure compliance with prescribed medical regimens, appointments, and follow-up care.
  4. Record Monitoring: Review open tickets to ensure provider contact information is accurate, following up on outstanding medical records and troubleshooting when necessary.
  5. Maintenance of Medical Providers Tab: Establish and maintain an organized and up-to-date Medical Providers Tab, containing essential information about medical facilities, specialists, and treatment options for quick and efficient reference.
  6. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with attorneys by following established policies and procedures for medical management alerting attorney or case manager where appropriate.

Qualifications:
  • Spanish Speaking Preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications a plus.
  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Motivated self-starter who takes initiative to see tasks through to completion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
