Apply now Someone from our executive team will call you back.Custodian Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently. Duties -Assist with assembly of desks/chairs/shelves and other items to support the setup and ongoing operation of the space- Perform routine cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas- Conduct commercial cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces- Help with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure the overall upkeep of the building- Handle industrial cleaning duties as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards- Serve as a porter by managing waste disposal and recycling efforts throughout the premises- Respond promptly to cleaning requests and maintain an organized supply inventory- Stocking of supplies in designated areas including office and shipping supplies-Lifting to and including 50lbsQualifications- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation are beneficial- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards work responsibilities- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving equipmentJoin our team and contribute to creating a clean and safe environment for everyoneExpected hours: forty per week.
