Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Audit Manager and Tax Manager to join our client's team in Wilmington DE. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting and auditing principles and tax laws and regulations. They will oversee our clients' audit and tax processes, ensuring that all financial statements are accurate and compliant with applicable laws and regulations. The successful candidate will also develop new business, manage staff, and stay current on industry trends.

Responsibilities:

* Oversee client audit and tax processes, ensuring that all financial statements are accurate and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.
* Identify and report potential errors or irregularities in a client's financial statements.
* Provide recommendations to clients on improving their internal controls and financial reporting processes.
* Provide clients with tax planning and preparation services, ensuring they comply with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
* Identify and report any potential tax issues affecting a client's financial situation.
* Provide recommendations to clients on how to minimize their tax liability.
* Manage a team of accountants and other professionals.
* Assign work, provide feedback, and resolve any issues that may arise.
* Develop new business for the firm.
* Network with potential clients, give presentations and write proposals.
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
* CPA license (preferred) - on-the-clock time to study for exam if not already certified
* Strong understanding of accounting and auditing principles, as well as tax laws and regulations
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Commitment to professional ethics and standards
