Track Equipment Assembly Technician The Track Equipment Assembly Technician plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by assembling, testing, and ensuring the quality of track equipment components. Ultimately, the technician ensures that finished products are reliable and ready for deployment in demanding operational environments. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing, preferably in durable goods or heavy equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools used in assembly processes. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Preferred Qualifications Technical certification or vocational training in mechanical assembly or related fields. Experience working with track equipment or heavy machinery assembly. Familiarity with quality control procedures and safety regulations in manufacturing. Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers. Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes. Responsibilities Assemble track equipment components according to detailed engineering drawings and specifications. Perform quality checks and functional tests on assembled equipment to ensure compliance with company and industry standards. Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues, collaborating with engineering and quality teams to implement corrective actions.
