The Commercial Lender participates in community and professional associates to aid in developing other commercial business as well as to help promote the bank's image. These efforts will result in stronger relationships and bank growth.OTHER RESPONSIBILITIESHandles all phases of commercial lending.Responsible for overall credit quality, documentation, compliance and pricing in their loan portfolio.Refers retail needs, including loan and deposit of commercial customers, to the appropriate lender or deposit expert.Responsible for marketing non-loan products, such as trust services, to bank customers and prospects.Fosters teamwork with loan department and branches.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESBachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Thoroughly understands the operational procedures for the Commercial Lender position and how they affect or relate to other departments in the banks. Serves as an expert for others.Solid knowledge of bank-wide regulations and thorough knowledge of regulations and laws that relate to his/her department.Provides a consistent level of service to all customers. Maintains good communication, follows through on requests, and displays a positive, professional image.Must be able to utilize time productively with minimum supervision.Must be able to work under pressure and to work extra hours when required by workload or project.JOB TYPE: Full-Time, ExemptWORK LOCATION: In personSCHEDULE: Day shift Monday through Friday with some Saturday mornings as needed.Minster Bank is an equal opportunity employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
