We invite applications for a specialist in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine at our Silver Spring Medical Center.In collaboration with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, we provide high-quality, patient-centered health care. Through this partnership, our physicians are part of an industry-leading health care delivery model, having access to advanced technological tools and receiving comprehensive practice support.MAPMG physicians are salaried, without the pressures of alternative payment models or fee-for-services.Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, thus allowing you to treat the whole patient.What You Can Expect:This position is listed as a 0.8FTE, which is the equivalent of 32 hours per week and is reflected in the salary listed belowProvide primary care for patients in your communityStaff clinical sessions at medical centers during clinic hours of 8a-5pm, with approximately 4 to 4 ½ working hours per clinical session Work a consistent schedule of either 3 or 4 days in clinic and enjoy either one full day OR two ½ days offNo weekend work, no call schedule, no rotationsDaily dedicated admin timeDocument visit notes and post-visit summaries in EPIC EMRTreat patients in clinic via in-person, video and phone appointmentsMinimum Requirements:MD or DOBoard Certified or EligibleCurrently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and VirginiaWork visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicantsMAPMG Physicians:Practice patient-centered, culturally competent medical careCommunicate thoughtfully (listen, educate, advocate)Lead with integrityValue teamworkAre transparent and honestGo "above and beyond" for their patientsWe Provide You:Nationally competitive annual salaries with no stressful RVUsClear pathway for physicians to become shareholdersComprehensive benefits include 100% employer-funded medical and dental insurance premiums, a pension plan and 401(k), life insurance and paid annual leave including paid holidaysComplete professional liability coverage including malpractice insurance provided at no cost, 100% reimbursement for obtaining and maintaining board certification, continuing medical education reimbursement, and in-house CME opportunitiesClinical support teamA concierge service that works directly with you to apply for all required state, CDS, and DEA licensesThe starting annual salary for this position is $240,000which considers an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
