Position: Senior Project Manager/Project Executive

Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Senior Project Manager/Project Executive to join our team. We specialize in federal construction projects, delivering superior results with a commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction. This position will be based in Frederick, MD, and will involve travel within the US and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage multiple federal construction projects from inception to completion, including buyout, construction, and operations phases.
  • Lead and coordinate the entire project team, including project managers, project engineers, and superintendents, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and government agencies, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • Ensure all projects comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive project reports, including progress updates, risk assessments, and financial status, to senior management and clients.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Travel to project sites as required to oversee progress, resolve issues, and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., PMP) are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, particularly in federal projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously from buyout to operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal construction regulations and requirements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as required.
