Mechanical Engineer

Spherion is recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer for a Wichita Falls company. The ME will be responsible for performing engineering duties in planning and designing tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment.Responsibilities:- Reads and interprets blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.-Confers with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.- Develops equations or systems of equations based on product and project needs to provide calculations pertinent to the design.- Recommends design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.- Specifies system components or directs modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.- Conducts research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design, operation and performance of equipment, components, and systems.- Researches, designs, evaluates, installs, operates, and maintains mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:- Hydraulic Component specifications, assembly, and test- Instrumentation specification, assembly, and test- Power Drivetrain Design- Heavy Equipment / Machine Design- Solid Works, AutoCAD- Microsoft Office Suite- LabVIEW or other Data Acquisition Software- Machine Tool Operation- Sitting, standing, stooping and lifting up to 50 lbs. may be required.Education:BachelorsExperience:7-10 yearsQualifications:-MUST have Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering- MUST have at least 5+ years work history in Mechanical Engineering -Computerized drafting skills are required-Experience in design, and drafting.-Must submit to background check and drug test.Please register at www.spherion.com/apply.
