Creates a work environment resulting in a high level of employee, patient, customer and physician satisfaction leading to achievement of financial targets related to the worker’s compensation line of business.** **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned):** **MANAGERIAL** + Work with Practice Administrator to ensure that AOA worker’s comp scheduling policies and procedures are understood and adhered to + Provide ongoing feedback to the Practice Administrator on the performance of the team members + Participate in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, disciplinary counseling and annual performance reviews of the WC staff + Conduct consistent one on one sessions with each staff member + Ensures monitoring WC scheduling phone queues. + Runs and evaluates reports to ensure proper staffing and workload distribution amongst the team members + Ensures monitoring of all EMR and PM Task completion by WC Coordinators + Train staff on new work comp initiatives + Assist Practice Administrator and Regional Directors in the development of new and revised worker’s comp and IME scheduling process and workflows + Assist marketing team with resolving issues/complaints from employers or worker’s comp insurance companies + Ensure WC TEAM members are utilizing accurate and current physician protocols and preferences for WC patient scheduling + Troubleshoot physician complaints related WC patient scheduling or authorization **ADMINISTRATIVE** + Reviews for accuracy and submits bi-weekly paid time off and payroll reports + Establishes standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness of WC scheduling processes; + Oversees review of weekly phone queue reports + Attend WC conferences, committees and other meetings as indicated + Conduct staff meetings for the WC Coordinators **SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES** + Directly manages Work Comp Team. + Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with AOA’s policies and all applicable laws. **REQUIREMENTS** + Bachelor’s Degree in business, practice management, healthcare administration or related field preferred.
