Job DescriptionBrandt is the exclusive John Deere Construction & Forestry equipment dealer in Canada and distributes many other equipment brands supporting Canadian industry. Brandt also designs and manufactures specialty equipment in Canada, supporting our customers with industry leading technologies and innovation engineered to address specific operational requirements.Brandt is currently seeking a Corporate Product Manager - Material Handlers, to be based out of either of our Regina, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Calgary, or Montreal Brandt Tractor locations. In this exciting and challenging role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to support the sales, service, and training for our Brandt Material Handler line, specifically the BMH40/60/80 for the Steel Industry and the BSH40 for the timber processing industry (Millyards).In this position, you will also be responsible to support the Brandt Material Handler sales teams across Canada, and provide technical expertise related to the applications and operations of this equipment as we grow our market.The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, proven problem-solver, capable of working in an office environment or with our customers in the field. Must also possess a passion for the heavy mobile equipment industry and enjoy travelling across Canada supporting our 56 Brandt Tractor locations. Duties & Responsibilities:Identify customer needs and industry trends specific to the Material Handler.Work with customers to understand their operational issues and provide solutions.Proficient at demonstrating the Material Handler equipment - becoming our resident expert.Stay current on product updates and be able to explain and demonstrate them.Understand the competitive options available to the markets.Liaison with the Brandt engineering team to support product development.Must be available to travel as needed within Canada and internationally, travel 50% + of the time to assist the sales teams on customer calls and for equipment demos and delivery.Assist with both customer and sales team training programs for the Material Handler.Required SkillsStrong communication skills - both written and verbal.Exposure to heavy construction equipment in some area - operational, maintenance, sales, or design.Proficient in working with the Microsoft Office suite programs.Fluency in both English and French is considered an asset.Required ExperienceRecent driver's abstract and valid passport are required.Experience with the Canadian Steel Production/Recycling and/or Timber Processing Industries.
