Machinist - Rotor Cutting/Pairing

Job DescriptionMachinist Rotor Cutting/Pairing-2nd shiftWhat you will do:Set-up, and operate one or more machines but not limited to the listed machines to perform various operations in the manufacture of helical screw rotors. Will train on 1st shift and move to 2nd shift after training is completed. Starting rate is $28.35/hour plus an additional $1.50/hour shift premium when moved to 2nd shift. How you will do itBe proficient in planning and performing tasks using basic math and specially acquired rotor cutting skills, methods and practices.Work to close tolerances as specified on drawings and other rotor cutting documents.Use math involving Algebra, Trigonometry and decimals.Use machinist tools and other precision measuring instruments.Inspect all dimensions of first piece and make any indicated corrections of dimensions to set up before proceeding with production.
