Job Purpose

Primary Function of the Controller is reporting the plants financial results in a timely and accurate manner.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

* Month end duties involving journal entries, HFM inputting, and adhoc reporting

* Prepare quarterly and year end reports.

* Prepare monthly account reconciliations. * Assist in the preparation of the annual Business Plan (Budget).

* Work directly with Dana's corporate accounting group to provide financial and other information as requested.

* To review, and monitor control procedures and systems to ensure accurate preparation of financial information and report to Controller any recommendations for change as required for implementation.

* Involved with internal and external audits, transfer price studies, and fixed asset maintenance.

* Customs management.

Qualifications:

* A post-secondary degree or diploma preferably in the area of accounting, business or finance.

* A professional accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA).

* Excellent knowledge of accounting systems and control elements.

* Working knowledge of business law.

* Strong financial and business background with strong analytical skills.

* Computer literacy and experience with spreadsheets and word processing.
