**A. Duie Pyle currently has an opening for a Dedicated Yard Jockey (CDL Qualified) in Vineland, NJ. ( Click BOLD link below to apply)**
This is a unique opportunity to join a family-owned, industry-leading, employee-focused company.
***** 3rd Shift - 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM - Sunday thru Friday ** Saturday's Mandatory if needed ***
* Home daily
* Open Door Policy
* Modern Equipment
* Paid Vacation, Holidays and Personal Days
* Moves truck from Yard to building and back
* Maneuvers truck into loading or unloading position at terminals following signals from loading crew as needed
* Visually inspects truck for defects before and after moving truck
* Connects tractor to trailer
* Loads and unloads, or assists in loading and unloading truck as needed
* Maintains paperwork log of trailers moved each night

* Class A CDL (some accounts require Hazmat endorsement)
* Minimum of 21 years of age
* One (1) year of recent verified CDL-A experience, van type trailer experience preferred. (Drivers with less experience may be considered for this position or may be considered for our in-house Truck Driving Academy or Finishing program based on the amount of verified experience.)
* Previous Jockey or Switcher experience required
* No license suspensions (excluding non-moving violations) in the last 3 years
* No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
* No unexplained gaps in employment
* Ability to comply and adhere to FMC safety regulations
* Ability to perform the functions of a dockworker (drive propane powered forklift or battery operated pallet jack to push, pull, lift, stack, tier or move products to and from trailers and straight trucks)
* Complete Pre-Trip and Post-Trips
* Communicate with dispatch via in-cab electronic device
* Read Bill of Lading to determine assignments
