Job Title: Commercial Construction Superintendent – K-12 Projects Company Overview: Join a leading construction firm dedicated to delivering high-quality educational facilities and commercial projects. Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Construction Superintendent with a minimum of 5 years of K-12 construction experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing ground-up and renovation projects in the education sector. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Construction Superintendent Responsibilities: Oversee all phases of K-12 construction projects, from preconstruction to project closeout. Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and on-site personnel. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely progress and adherence to deadlines. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including OSHA standards. Monitor and control project budgets, costs, and resources. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction. Prepare and present progress reports to leadership and clients. Construction Superintendent Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in K-12 construction projects. Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices, methods, and regulations. Excellent leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) and scheduling tools. Strong understanding of safety compliance and OSHA regulations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing teams and client relationships. Construction Superintendent Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Certifications such as OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or PMP.
