The BSA Analyst assists the BSA Department in maintaining and supporting BSA-related systems, applications, and technology to ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), OFAC, and USA PATRIOT Act requirements. The scope of responsibilities includes but is not limited to testing, tuning, monitoring, reporting, and other data management tasks. Responsibilities: Act as an administrator and technical liaison for all software systems used by the bank to comply with BSA, OFAC, and the USA PATRIOT Act. Assist with the maintenance of systems used by BSA and ensure they are performing appropriately, conduct periodic evaluations, and make recommendations for modifications and efficiencies. Oversees systems changes, updates, and maintenance of BSA/AML applications. Assist BSA Officer in contracted model data validations. Maintain an advanced working knowledge of all Bank systems and processes as they relate to BSA/AML/OFAC compliance. Provide subject matter expertise for business line projects to ensure BSA/AML and OFAC risks are appropriately managed. Develop and maintain system reporting specific to BSA metrics and data, including ad-hoc reporting which may be relied upon by Executive management. Provide support to the BSA Officer during regulatory exams and independent testing engagements. Update procedures related to BSA operating changes, new regulatory requirements, or risk-based enhancements. Other duties as assigned.
