We have an immediate opening for a Supervisor for our Electroplating Department in Franklin Park, IL This role is responsible for planning, organizing and managing the effective utilization of people, materials, equipment and manufacturing processes within multiple departments to meet safety, production schedule, quality, inventory, cost and delivery objectives.

Responsibilities include:

• Directly supervise and follows up on scheduled work with all employees in assigned area of responsibility.
• Responsible to meet established productivity targets and develop and implement corrective action plans when needed.
• Produce quality parts and finished goods that meet established quality standards
• Reviews production schedule for needs and accuracy.
• Ensures conformance to safety rules and regulations, labor agreement and employee rules of conduct.
• Prepare required reports and maintains data in SAP concerning department activities.
• Responsible for training of employees in proper methods and procedures. Continues to develop and lead employees with on-going training
• Perform continuous improvement activities aimed at enhancing safety, efficiency, quality and costs.

Qualifications

• 3+ Years Manufacturing Environment or related education
• 3+ Years Supervisory experience
• Proficient in use of computer applications - Microsoft Office
• Technical skills and knowledge of assigned area
• Working knowledge of material, tooling, machine tools and manufacturing process
• Working knowledge of safety management process
