Summary: The overhaul technician performs maintenance, repair, and overhaul of complex aircraft components.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of directly related technical maintenance/mechanic experience. Aircraft and aviation experience is a plus.
  • A&P certification is a plus.
  • Must be able to read and write in English.
  • Must be willing to be respirator trained.
  • Proficiency in using and understanding component maintenance manuals and other repair specifications.
Job Duties:
  • Performing hands-on maintenance tasks on complex mechanical, electrical, electronic, and/or hydraulic aircraft components.
  • Conducting maintenance activities such as disassembly, cleaning, inspection, troubleshooting, parts requisitioning, repair, assembly, and testing.
  • Uses and understands component maintenance manuals and other repair specifications.
  • Understands or willing to learn company quality management system procedures.
  • Accurately documenting all maintenance activities performed and taking responsibility for the quality of documentation.
  • May also participate in the build of similar new components following work instructions.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required.
  • Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.
  • Physical Demands: Sitting: 35% / Walking: 10% / Standing: 35% / Lifting: 20%
