Job Description ISN is looking for a part-time Senior Accountant (up to 25 hours per week) to join our accounting team to be the main point of contact to our subcontractors. The Senior Accountant handles communication with our subcontractors on a specific project. The Senior Accountant compares data in the customer invoice with data in the subcontractor’s using MS Access/SQL to ensure that the subcontractor is only paid once ISN has been paid by the customer, “Pay-When-Paid”. This position reports to the Controller. Primary Responsibilities: Reviews subcontractors’ invoices to ensure all required information is reported Ensures invoices are accurate Verifies pricing on subcontractors’ invoices with a pricing worksheet Compares data in the customer invoice with data in the subcontractor’s to ensure the subcontractor is only paid when ISN has been paid by the customer, “Pay-When-Paid”. Backup for regular AP entries, check-printing, and postings Performs special projects and provides support to the accounting team as needed Qualifications Qualifications: This position requires at a minimum an associate degree in accounting. A minimum of 3 years of experience in the government contracting field Recent experience working with Deltek CostPoint is preferred, but not required.
