EXECUTIVE SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Employee Engagement Manager will have a passion for making a difference and influencing the positive journey of Lendistry Team Members. Highly emotionally intelligent, this operational professional will be able to recognize and respond to the needs of the Lendistry organization appropriately and skillfully, with intentionality, out of the box creativity, professionalism, and finesse.

The Employee Engagement Manager expected to be a conceptual thinker with superb communication, organizational and time management skills, reliable and accurately able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.The Employee Engagement Manager will have good decision-making skills, experienced presentation skills, will be tech savvy and comfortable interacting and communicating with all levels of the corporation.

Lendistry is the country's largest minority-led and technology-enabled small business and commercial real estate lender with Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and Community Development Entity (CDE) certification. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

•Provide critical input and advise the Employee Engagement Team regarding research, reporting and other projects designed to make Lendistry the best place to work.

•Create, plan, implement and manage various Employee Engagement initiatives and events, including coordination of resources, preparation of presentations, communications, both internal and external, planning documents, follow up on deliverables and timelines.

•Under the direction of the VP Employee Engagement, manage appropriate budget line items, ensuring that all expenses fall within the correct category and that budgetary limits are maintained.

•Manage Lendistry's New Hire Onboarding processes as they are handed off by HR, including the New Hire Communication, New Hire Orientation, Work Buddy Program, New Hire Survey and follow-up, ensuring that new TEAM members have an exceptional experience during the first 90 days of employment and beyond. Serve as a point of contact to support New Hires through their onboarding experience ensuring a high level of communication and response to issues that may arise.

•Identify ways to improve the New Hire experience, collaborating with Team members from all Departments and providing regular updates and feedback to the VP Employee Engagement.

•Continuously help to improve and execute Lendistry's employee engagement strategies, inclusive of employee listening efforts to better understand the employee experience, and identification of high priority action items that will improve experience and build Lendistry's aspired culture.

•Maintain reports and KPIs needed to understand engagement, experience, and culture. Be aware of the connection to other key people metrics such as talent attraction, retention, and turnover.

•Manage the Employee Gifting program ensuring that that all stakeholders receive proper and timely communication and follow up. Maintain vendor information and report of all expenditures. Provide regular reporting and program evaluations to the VP Employee Engagement.

•Act as an SME of the HRIS Employee Voice and Survey Module, implementing a suite of surveys and other listening mechanisms to hear from all of Lendistry, including executive leadership. Provide regular reports and KPIs to leadership needed to make business decisions that align with corporate goals and direction.

•Collaborate on the planning, development and implementation of Employee Resource Groups and Diversity and Inclusion programs, supporting professional development, strengthening engagement, and promoting commitment to a diverse workplace. •Collaborate in the planning, development, and implementation of community involvement initiatives. Manage various initiatives including company-wide and community-based events, coordinating resource allocation, team involvement, reporting and post event support and feedback.

•Maintain regular assessment of all online company reviews and related comments from all platforms including Google, Glassdoor, and Yelp. Provide weekly tracking data, highlighting trends and comparisons to like organizations.

•Keep all program and initiative statuses, project plans and activity reports updated and well documented. Collaborate to determine the best way for this information to be provided to leadership to use in decision making.

•Consistently assess data and information on Launchpad (Lendistry Intranet) and make regular suggestions for additional communication, updates, and ways to increase engagement.

•Manage weekly Employee Engagement Status Reports identifying deficiencies and areas for improvement.

•Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient and effective operation of the department and that help to make Lendistry the best place to work

PROFICIENCIES

•Polished writer and speaker who can connect and distill key messages and present them in a compelling way to multiple internal and external audiences and channels.

•Must be creative and super passionate about communication and engagement, and the overall employee experience.

•Experienced at managing processes, multiple projects, expertly following up and simultaneously working against timelines.

•Great people skills: diplomacy, integrity, and mature presence with the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively up, down, and laterally across multiple departments.

•Ability to influence and build effective relationships with senior leaders.

•Must be flexible, resilient, comfortable with ambiguity and adapt easily to change.

•Must be able to think creatively and embrace measurement and data; including being passionate about testing new ideas to improve impact.

•Ability to use tact and professionalism in times of stress.

•Comfortable with professionally representing the company in a variety of settings, always promoting the Lendistry in the best possible way.

•Travel may be necessary.

•Availability to work outside of normal work hours as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

•Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.

•Tech-savvy (well versed in MS Office, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Canva and Video Editing Programs)

•3+ years of related work experience. Experience with communicating to an employee population, event planning, training and/or community involvement is a plus.

•1+ years of experience in employee engagement programs.

•Experience with UKG, Monday.com, Microsoft Loop and/or Lucid chart is a plus

SALARY

$70,000 to $90,000/Annually, depending on experience and location
