Primary Responsibilities

Prepares and maintains records of fixed assets, depreciation
Perform bank reconciliations for various entities and petty cash reconciliation
Prepare state Sales and Use Taxes returns
Prepare journal entries
Calculate and record accounts payable accruals
Reconcile accounts payable sub ledger to general ledger
Review invoices for accuracy
Data entry of vendor invoices
Prepare vendor status reports, cash requirements lists, purchase journals, vendor invoice vouchers, 1099 forms for applicable vendors
Respond to inquiries regarding vendor invoices and materials and equipment job cost charges
Assist with external and internal audits
Perform other duties as assigned and required

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance required
One (1) or more years experience preferred
Strong computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and familiarity with ERP systems
Ability to multi-task and work in high pressure environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to follow through on commitments and projects
Strong planning, organizational and administrative skills
Highly motivated individual with desire to grow professionally
