The Cypress of Charlotte is recruiting for a hospitality focused full-time IT Technician to join our team to work Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm. The IT Technician facilitates the efficient operation of the IT services for members and staff by performing a variety of customer service and IT tasks.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an IT Technician:
  • Assist "walk-up" user requests, problems, and questions at the IT Help Desk
  • Resolves escalations to the IT Help Desk originating from a call/email from the call center or Site Support that has been determined to be a quick-fix
  • Laptop / Desktop hardware troubleshooting
  • Software Troubleshooting (Windows 10 and 11/ Office 365 / VPN, etc.)
  • Mobile devices (iOS, Windows Mobile/Surface, and Android)
  • Preliminary AV/VC upkeep and troubleshooting
  • Basic Active Directory accounts administration
  • Quick response to "user-down" scenarios
  • Triage requests or problems appropriately to other support teams
  • Timely and accurate ticket creation and management. Create and maintain a written knowledge base.
  • Assisting residents and staff with navigating potential cyber security threats/scams.
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
  • A minimum of two years of experience in customer service
  • IT Technical degree or some college courses in IT is preferred
  • The ability to faciliate and manage multiple IT related tasks with an emphasis in hospitality
  • Self motivation and prompt responsiveness to support requests is a must
  • Ability to readily adjust to frequently changing assignments
  • Demonstrate understanding, patience, tact, respect and courtesy in dealing with members and their families
  • Exhibit initiative, sound judgment and dependability
  • Comprehensive knowledge of administrative functions including office equipment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
Pay Range: $20- $22 per hour, depending on experience.
