Job Summary and QualificationsThe Environmental Services Associates (ESA-1) is responsible for the general cleanliness of the following areas at the Medical Facilities: patient care areas, Administrative areas, ancillary support areas, rest rooms, and all other areas requiring Environmental Services support. The routine work of this employee, depending upon area of assignment, consists of sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, wiping, surface cleaning all floors, walls, ceilings, sinks, mirrors, showers, commodes, windows, and other glass areas, rooms for the next patient. Moving of furniture and other heavy equipment is accomplished as directed.
- High school graduate or equivalent education preferred.
- Must read, speak and understand the English language.
- Team Leader should have six months of experience performing Environmental Service type cleaning tasks. Specific requirements of the position can be learned on the job.
