Class A CDL Driver We are seeking a Class A CDL Driver to join our dynamic team We are looking for a responsible delivery driver to distribute research products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional, safe and cost-effective manner aiming at increasing profitability and customer satisfaction. This is a multi-faceted route driver position - Primary Routes: Sunday Thursday, some overnights and fill in on teams driving routes as needed. Must be willing to teams drive. Full benefits within 30 days of hire. Responsibilities: Be able to drive and successfully operate a vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs. Pick up loads, verify for accuracy, and deliver on time Accurately complete paperwork Load and unload various types of cargo safely Drive safely in various conditions, including heavy traffic and inclement weather Inspect vehicle before start of shift; perform basic truck maintenance when necessary Follow schedule and rest when necessary Be able to read maps and follow directions to a location Provide courteous, professional customer service at all customer locations Be able to repeatedly lift items weighing up to 70 lbs. Drive for long periods of time safely Self-motivated and reliable Able to read maps and GPS Customer service skills Good knowledge of roads and direction, traffic laws, and DOT regulations Other duties as assigned Qualifications: At least 5 years of CDL driving experience Successful completion of a motor vehicle driving record check Able to follow detailed instructions and communicate in English Strong ability to pay attention to detail Possess good customer relations skills Able to lift up to 70 lbs Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Must be available for specialty runs at early hours or for late starts, as needed Salary will be commensurate with experience and responsibilities.
