Sanitation Associate

Sanitation Associate We are seeking Sanitation Associates to maintain the integrity of product safety and quality in a food manufacturing facility. This role requires maintaining a high level of cleanliness and sanitation, ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations such as GMP, HACCP, and allergen management. Responsibilities: Maintain work area and equipment to ensure clean, sanitary, and orderly conditions. Perform general industrial cleaning in production areas. Operate cleaning equipment to maintain floors throughout the building and production areas, ensuring there are no spills or raw material residues. Empty all waste containers and replace bags. Clean and disinfect washrooms, locker rooms, and lunchrooms. Wash and dust walls, equipment, tanks, ceiling light fixtures, and ceiling vents to remove dirt, grease, oil, or any other foreign matter. Report any defective materials, spills, or issues that require extended cleaning time. Occasionally fill pails for production or assist in other production utility operator activities. Essential Skills: At least one year of experience in industrial sanitation. Experience in food manufacturing and machine operation. Knowledge of GMP and industrial cleaning practices. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience in sanitation within food manufacturing is preferred. Ability to handle chemicals safely. Physical ability to stand, walk for prolonged periods, climb stairs, and lift more than 50 lbs occasionally. Ability to work in a noisy environment with temperature variations and wear necessary PPE. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Union City, CA. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
