Summary Arcadis DPS Group is seeking a Project Engineer to support for a client in Providence, RI. The Project Engineer will be reporting to the Sr Manager of Global Engineering to provide management and implementation of the design, construction, and startup of capital projects to support Cell and Gene Therapy facilities. The Project Engineer will provide support to the project teams during the execution of building start up and commissioning activities, collaborate with Site Engineering, Area / System Owners, GIS, and PMO throughout the project life cycles Responsibilities Lead the design and construction coordination effort for the project. Oversee the construction manager while onsite and communicate impactful work to the site facilities team. Provide support to facility commissioning team to ensure the project objectives and timelines are met. Ensure all the policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards are updated in a timely manner to support the design, construction, and startup execution schedule. Supports project team in creation and revision of Project Documents, Protocols, Reports, and Engineering Documents including, but not limited to, IQ/OQ, drawings, user requirement specifications and SOP’s. Effectively works with cross departmental stakeholders, PMO, EH&S, Global Security, design teams and QA. Supports PMO team with project budget and change order reviews throughout the project life cycle. Proactively implements out-of-the-box approaches to design and construction to ensure effective operation and turnover to the site teams. Communicate key project milestones and updates to stakeholders. Ensure that all project activities align with the current SOPs, global standards and cGMP guidelines. Create right-the-first time culture for all documents distributed across the organization. Ensure the Global Engineering reputation and partnership is flourished with the cross-functional teams. Councils and advises management on status of project strategies and tactics, policies, procedures, and practices Skills and Qualifications B.A, B.S. in Engineering or related discipline with 7-10 years of project experience or M.S. in related field. Understanding and application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field, GMP, ISO, GAMP, ANSI. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and SharePoint. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute to a cohesive plan with objective progress reporting including metrics. Experience building and leading effective teams Optimizes peak performance through development & coaching while fostering a cohesive work environment. Demonstrates business acumen and agility. Demonstrates functional/technical proficiency, engages in effective operational and strategic planning. Experience working with building systems (MEP) and sustainability is desired Receptive to change – Adapts (quickly) to changing circumstances. Requires strong attention to detail and analytical skills as well as problem analysis and resolution. Able to lead and or engage in a multi-disciplined project team. Strong communication skills (written and oral) across all levels of the organization Ability to provide legal US work authorization documents required.
