Join to apply for the Logistics Coordinator role at Superior Position: Logistics Coordinator Reports to: Manager of Prefabrication Location: Gahanna, Ohio Pay Range: $25 - $33 per hour (Eligible for Overtime) Superior is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments and support overall logistics operations. This role plays a key part in keeping projects on schedule by ensuring materials are received, processed, and delivered where theyre needed. This role is based at our Advanced Logistics and Manufacturing Facility (ALF) in Gahanna, Ohio. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage daily inbound and outbound shipments Serve as the point of contact for carriers, drivers, and internal teams Oversee and assist with loading, unloading, and verifying shipments Conduct inspections of loads and equipment to ensure safety and compliance Prepare shipping documents and maintain accurate logistics records Support facility operations, including tool management, material organization, and inventory counts Other duties as assigned Your Character Traits Youre exceptionally organized and have a strong attention to detail Youre a great communicator, a team player, and ready to work with colleagues across the organization Youre safety?conscious and committed to maintaining compliance standards You have a get?it?done mentality and are ready to support with whatever is needed You have the ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and the willingness to learn new processes Your Expertise Required: You have at least 2 years of experience in facility or warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling Required: You have an active forklift certification or you are willing to obtain one Superior will provide certification and training through an approved third?party program before your first day of employment Required: You have proficiency with logistics or warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Required: You understand shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes Bonus Points: You have an associates degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field Bonus Points: You have experience coordinating with third?party logistics (3PL) providers Bonus Points: You hold an active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Bonus Points: You have a CDL Class A License Our Benefits Health Insurance: We pay 100% of the insurance premium to cover you, your spouse, and eligible children Dental Plan: We pay 100% of the insurance premium to cover you, your spouse, and eligible children Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability, and Life Insurance: We pay 100% of the insurance premium to cover you 401K Plan: We contribute a portion of your 401K for you Vacation/PTO: You receive a minimum of three weeks of PTO per year Health Savings Account: We contribute at least $500 to your HSA each year Maternity and Parental Leave: New parents receive paid time off About The Superior Group (Superior) Superior is a national leader in electrical design and construction.
