Allergist-Immunologist

The Department of Medicine and the Division of Allergy and Immunology at Albany Medical College are seeking an allergist-immunologist for appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor. Candidates should be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Allergy/Immunology and be eager to engage in clinical practice, teaching, research, and quality improvement. The position involves the full scope of adult and pediatric allergy/immunology practice as well as providing inpatient consultation at Albany Medical Center, the major teaching hospital for northeastern New York State. The ideal candidate should be a skilled teacher of medical students, residents, and A/I fellows in the ambulatory, inpatient, and didactic settings. He/She would join 2 other full-time A/I faculty members, two A/I fellows in training, and a team of 6 nurses. This academic practice is a cohesive unit where empathy and mutual respect as well as excellence in patient care and teaching are highly valued.
