Staff Accountant II
What can you expect?
- This is a highly visible role working directly with senior leadership across the globe.
- This role will provide exposure to almost all aspects of the general ledger and accounting policies, allowing for rapid growth and learning.
- Within the first 60 days, this colleague should and will become a subject matter expect on the MMC global balance sheet reconciliation standard, a key financial accuracy, audit and SOX control.

- Work with various global teams to ensure compliance to global standards
- Partner with stakeholders across all lines of business to identify gaps and implement solutions in the process
- Serve as a subject matter expert as it pertains to the balance sheet reconciliation process
- Support with ad-hoc projects within Accounting Operations as needed
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Basic understanding of accounting policy
- Experience with balance sheet reconciliation
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite, specifically MS Excel
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with MS Access
- Proven ability to manage various stakeholder relationships
- Balance sheet and account reconciliation knowledge and experience
