Pay Range $ 19 per hour (Paid Weekly) Overview Cox Communications is searching for an Inventory Specialist. Cox Communications is a leading provider of digital cable television, telecommunications, and home automation services. With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, Cox Communications offers high?speed internet, digital telephone, and home security services to residential customers and businesses. Were currently looking for talented individuals to join our team. This is a 4?Month W2 contract assignment with the opportunity for contract extension or to transition to a permanent, full?time role based on performance and business needs. Shift/Hours This is a fully onsite position located in Springdale, AR Monday - Friday; 40 hours per week (7AM-3:30PM) Responsibilities Receive and put away CPE shipments and material products into assigned Bin/Row locations from a Primary Distribution Center (PDC) or manufacturer Fulfill CPE and material orders to various boundary partners (Field Service Technicians, Installation Contractors, Solution Stores, 3rd Party Stores, etc.) Monitor inventory levels and restock appropriately Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) applications and scanners to perform warehouse functions Process CPE returns by utilizing WMS application to prepare returns for shipment back to the PDC, including sorting, boxing, labeling, shrink wrapping, and staging of CPE returns on pallets Monitor and restock Quick Pick locations to maintain adequate inventory levels Utilize light warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and carts Safely operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and larger delivery vehicles for pickup, delivery, and loading/unloading of CPE, materials, equipment, and mail Assist in daily cycle counts to audit physical and systemic accuracy of inventory at a warehouse or assigned to boundary partner Perform other duties as requested Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 2 years of experience in a related field Safe driving skills; valid drivers license required Knowledge of basic computing skills (e.g., Email, Microsoft Office) Capability to develop aptitude for basic warehouse inventory management systems (CHAT, Oracle, ICOMS, etc.) Ability to learn how to operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, stretch wrap machine, etc.) Ability to frequently stand, walk, grasp with hands, and reach at waist Physical ability to push/pull pallets and carts containing CPE and materials (constant) Ability to lift 5070 pounds to manage warehouse inventory and transportation of orders (constant) Ability to carry and use warehouse tools and equipment Ability to work outdoors and in extreme weather conditions, with varying wet and dry locations (constant) Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a service?oriented, fast?paced team environment (constant) Ability to drive a company vehicle, including a commercial motor vehicle (DOT physical required where applicable by state law) (frequent) Computer literacy with an aptitude for learning warehouse management systems, communication products, and associated items (frequent) Willingness to work a flexible schedule when assigned to the On Call rotation (occasional) EEO Statement As a woman?owned firm, Atrium values diversity.
