Job Description

The Human Resources Coordinator reports to the corporate Manager, Human Resources / HRBP and as a dotted line report to the Talent Development Business Partner. The role collaborates with key business partners such as managers and employees to ensure RAC operates its business through its core values of Honesty, Fairness and Respect.

Human Resources Administration & Coordination

  • Maintains accurate, complete, and up-to-date both hard copy and digital employee records, including entering and maintaining accuracy of employee HRIS data.
  • Produces and submits reports on general HR projects
  • Assists with ad-hoc HR projects
  • Coordinates ongoing regulatory compliance postings at the corporate location and district offices.
  • Receives and responds timely to government agency requests (employment verifications, EDD notices, etc.).
  • Creates and updates e-forms and processes in PeopleConnect and DocuSign.
  • Assists with performance management procedures
  • Audits on a quarterly basis vacation accrual balance for non-exempt admin employees.
  • Conducts employee data integrity audit on a weekly basis in PeopleConnect
  • Coordinate Company employee and community engagement programs
  • Provides information to employees about benefit programs and policies
  • Participate in the implementation of HR programs.
  • Schedules and coordinates training sessions, meetings, HR events for admin employees
  • Assists with managing communicable diseases protocols
Employee Onboarding & Off-Boarding
  • Coordinates the different steps for the Onboarding Program including New Hire Training & Learning Plan.
  • Coordinates and facilitates New Hire Orientations for US Admin employees and updates records for new staff
  • Administers 30/60/90 Day Reviews for New Hires & provides guidance and training for Managers on process.
  • Coordinates the offboarding process for employees who separate from employment, such as: final pay, paperwork, scheduling employee exit meetings and interviews, and collection of company equipment and follow up with other departments.
  • Coordinates with Manager and Communications Department for the departure email.
  • Processes any data entry about employee departure.
Talent Development Coordination
  • Assists and follows up with employees on their individual development plans, talent profiles in PeopleConnect
  • Maintains and updates training records by tracking and recording training progress and completion.
  • Promotes mentoring within development programs to further knowledge share across the organization.
  • Maintains and updates training records by recording training taken by employees, reporting on the training and development results and progress.
  • Administers programs designed with a LinkedIn Learning path for administrative employees; ensures licenses are administered to employees who need one.
  • Coordinates development training logistics (classrooms, agendas, invitations, evaluations, communication, meals, and resources needed, with area leaders and their teams).
  • Shares development strategies, program results, testimonials and/or success stories with company through emails and face-to-face presentations to foster an environment of learning and development.
Other activities as assigned, to include but not limited to: front desk coverage for rest breaks

Education Level/ Escolaridad:
  • High school diploma required but AA degree desired, Business or related field
Years of experience/ Aos de Experiencia:
  • Minimum 1- 2 years of experience in Human Resources or related field
Languages:
  • English / Ingles: Fluent
  • Spanish / Espaol: Fluent
Necessary Software:
  • MS Office Suite - Proficient
Travel Requirements:
  • Occasional travel to other CA districts for meetings and trainings (10%).


Pay Scale: $22.42 - $25.39
