Dishwasher

Job Description Provides assistance as a member of the Restaurant Team, including cleaning, counter service, sanitation, and stocking of products. All MAIDO jobs require ensuring a positive company image by delivering excellent and memorable customer service. All positions must be prepared and able to perform duties inherent in other Team Member job descriptions. Dishwasher Responsibilities: Washes, stacks, sorts, and stores dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware (by dishwasher or hand). Clear away dishes from tables. Maintains a clean kitchen and keeps dish area organized and free of clutter. Sets up dish stations, including dish-washing machines and sinks. Maintains clean, dry floors throughout the shift. Cleans and sanitizes storage areas, including freezers and refrigerators. Assists in storing food deliveries Monitors trash cans throughout shift, making sure to remove full trashcans and boxes as needed and at the end of each shift Assists in food prep and any other duties set forth or requested by the chef and other managers as needed Follows sanitation and cleaning procedures Ensures that dishwashers are in working order and reports problems as they arise Assists with closing, including aiding in the sanitation of cooking and food preparation stations. Greet customers and courteously respond to inquiries. Perform all other necessary duties as assigned. Requirements Dishwasher Job Skills and Qualifications: High level of stamina to work on feet for extended periods. Lift up to 50 LB goods. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Notice and address even the smallest cleanliness issues. Highly developed interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under intense time pressure. Dedication to on-time arrival for shifts. Availability to work various hours, days, and shifts, including weekends.
