Overview:

+ A private Civil Engineering firm in Conshohocken, PA is looking to hire a Staff Civil Engineer. The Civil Engineer will primarily support staff and project-level engineers in all aspects of projects including conceptual/planning, preliminary design, detailed design, construction documentation, permitting documents and engineer reports. The Civil Engineer will support various clients and departments including land development, residential, commercial, and industrial. This role will offer hybrid flexibility after the initial training period.

Responsibilities:

+ Review of local municipal ordinances.

+ Design of sites including but not limited to site layout, site grading, and site utilities.

+ Assist the design team in preparation of plans for permitting and construction.

+ Preparation of permit applications.

+ Preparation of engineering reports, present technical information to demonstrate compliance with client requirements and/or regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

+ Degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field.

+ At least 3+ years of industry experience, preferably with land development.

+ EIT or PE strongly preferred, but not required.

+ Proficiency with AutoCAD & Civil 3D/Micro station.

+ Must understand terminology like grading, slope, steep slope, municipal codes.
