Aerotek, voted Best of Staffing, is hiring 2nd and 3rd shift welders to work with a well-respected company with a starting pay of **$20.00/hour and a max of $30.00/hour for more experienced welders for a job site based in Ghent, KY** . This is a long term opportunity. Client pays very generously with competitive pay rates in the market. Ideal candidates would be looking for a long-term opportunity and to grow with a company. Contractors will read and interpret blueprints, welding prints and other drawings. They will select parts from laser cutting/press brake operation to weld and align parts according to specifications, weld parts to specific tolerances, modify or redesign existing parts if necessary, etc.

**Shift:**
2nd Shift: 2:00 pm to 11:30 pm
3rd Shift: 10:00 pm to 7:30 am
**Environment:**
Heavy industrial work environment. They do work on industrial machines so it is more of a fabrication shop type of environment.
**Top Skills:**
Mig welding experience
Familiar with metric system
Blueprint reading experience
Autobody sanding experience is a plus
Must be knowledgeable of weld shrinkage factors and various welding techniques.
Must successfully pass entry-level test administered by Mazak
