Collaborate with other departments to align development projects with business objectives, enhancing cross-functional understanding and cooperation. Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies, applying insightful knowledge to guide the team’s direction and innovation. Champion the implementation of best practices in coding standards, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies, to optimize development processes and product quality. Lead by example in tackling complex development challenges, providing hands-on guidance, and making strategic decisions to navigate obstacles. Drive the recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training of development staff, building a robust team capable of rising to future challenges. Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. Conduct performance reviews, offering constructive feedback, and actionable steps for team improvement and commendation. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven leadership experience in managing development teams, with a track record of enhancing team performance and project delivery. Strong foundational knowledge in software development, with expertise in at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java). Excellent understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and contemporary software deployment tools. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, capable of motivating and leading teams with empathy and integrity. Demonstrated ability to strategize, implement, and maintain development processes that align with company goals and industry best practices. Adept at problem-solving, decision-making, and facilitating productive team discussions towards constructive outcomes.
