Position Title: Toolshop MachinistReports To: Tooling ManagerLocation: Tanner, AlabamaPOSITION SUMMARY: The tool shop machinist will be responsible for producing tool paths from model to support with CNC equipment. Maintaining a current file system of toolpaths organized so the CNC technicians can load and run programs of the current version.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESProduce tool paths from model for manufacturing and repairing toolingManage the machining area cutting tool and consumable needsSchedule CNC work on the machinesMaintain CNC programs up to date and at current revisionWhen needed will operate CNC machinery to produce and repair toolingAide as needed in drawing changesREQUIREMENTS (including educational requirements)5 Year minimum CNC programming exp.Must to have 5+ years of experience in CAM software CAD software proficiency a plusMust have 5 axis experience also using post processorsHypermill experience a plusMust be resourceful, can provide clear and analytical thinking as well as an ability to problem solve and create effective strategiesMust have strong verbal and written communication skills SAP skills are a plusAbout Bocar.:Bocar Group, was establish in 1958 in Mexico City, originally as a manufacturer of pumps and carburetors, is the Parent company of Bocar US, Inc.
